  • Thorns (If Blades is dead) – Multishot – 3 Strips of AOE project from Thorns Dealing Large amounts of damage.

There are two ways to approach the Storm Twins’ fight. Below we will go through both strategies and both of the Twin’s abilities

Kill Both at the Same time {Jack and Jill} Strategy

The Storm Twins’ Hunt is a Dual-Boss fight that requires you to deplete their health at the same time. As with any good Jack and Jill fight, you’ll want to keep Blade and Thorn’s health totals as close as possible throughout the fight. Killing at the same time will require some Team Coordination, as keeping the twins together can be deadly. Blade Storm and Rain of Arrows deal large amounts of damage and are difficult to avoid at the same time. By grouping Thorns and Blade up tightly, your group should be able to deal enough damage to keep both staggered and finish the fight quickly.

Kill Blades First Strategy

You can also approach the fight by Killing one boss quickly while one member of the party tanks the other Boss to the side. In this case, we recommend killing Blades first, as Thorns attacks are more easily avoided. All Early damage should be focused on Storm of Blades while watching out for Blade Storm and Rain of Arrows. Once Blades is down, Players need to focus on dealing damage to Thorns from behind or on his flank to avoid getting hit by Multishot. Multishot creates a Massive AOE that deals Massive amounts of damage. Storm of Thorns will also cast Rain of Arrows much more frequently now, so be sure to avoid them, keeping your eyes open for AOE.

Which ever strategy your group chooses, with a little coordination, you’ll have the Storm Twins defeated in no time.
