New World developers Amazon Games Studio have announced the upcoming brand-new Legacy of Crassus Event. Starting from February 21 running through to March 7, players will defend Aeternum from the might of Rome. This announcement comes in light of the recent Leaderboards launch.
Legacy of Crassus Event Information
Crassus’ mighty army has invaded Aeternum. Unleashing new world bosses, Lucanus and Decimus the Cyclopses accordingly. Players can expect to find these bosses via portals in the following locations:
- Brightwood
- Weaver’s Fen
- Mourningdale
- Ebonscale Reach
- Edengrove
Each victory versus the new Roman threat will also allow players to earn event-specific rewards to enjoy daily.
Rewards
The two vicious level 66 world bosses, Lucanus and Decimus can drop event-specific rewards such as Lucanus weapons and Decimus armor. However, they will also drop the typical weapons, armor and consumables you’d find in Aeternum. Player must also deal 1000 damage minimum to be eligible for rewards.
There are also bonus daily rewards up for grabs too! Each player will also earn a special cache that contains Legendary gear pieces upon boss kill. It has been confirmed that players are also guaranteed to receive each of the following rewards after defeating the duo eight times:
Weapons
- Hoplites Great Blade, Great Sword
- Sagittar of Lucanus, Bow
- Vesuvius, Fire Staff
- Wrath of Decimus, Great Axe
Armor
- Galea of Lucanus, Medium Helm
- Cuirass of Decimus, Heavy Chest Armor
- Fists of Decimus, Heavy Gauntlets
- Hobnailed Boots of Lucanus, Medium Boots
Dailies will reset at 5am local time.
Finally, there will also be standard rewards for defeating the world bosses Lucanus and Decimus. These rewards however unlike the daily rewards, are farmable on repeated boss kills. Each victory of Lucanus and Decimus awards players with either:
- A random rolled weapon or armor at their level at a 90% chance
- A Named item specific to Brimstone Sands or Greater Aeternum at a 10% chance
- Level-appropriate consumables such as potions etc
