Introduction

Welcome to our Excavator Guild Boss guide. In Throne and Liberty, multiple Raid Bosses appear throughout the open world and in Guild Raid activities. Each boss is a different level and bring their own unique mechanics. Excavator is a Level 28 Boss, as a result, we recommend tackling this with guildmates that exceed that level. Also, Excavator in the open world is found just North of Titanreach Ruins Waypoint in Monolith Ruins. However, once your Guild hits level 9, you can take on Excavator with your Guild via the Guild Hall.

Excavator Boss Fight [Normal Difficulty]

Phase 1

During Phase 1, Excavator attacks players using a mixture of close-range melee attacks, and large devastating AoE attacks. All players need to do here is DPS the boss, however, players also need to keep an eye on the large wind-up animation Excavator has. Most of these wind-up attacks lead to a huge AoE that can be dodged by jumping at the right time.

Every while throughout the fight, Excavator shouts out “Wide-range Operation!”. This is Excavator’s Fury Attack (as indicated by the purple circle that’ll appear over it). Excavator spins three times, the third spin is the time to use your block to get a perfect block!

3-Attack Combo

Another attack that can come out at any time is a 3-attack chain combo, this combo is executed in order of:

• A large slam into the ground with Excavator’s Hammer, knocking everyone up in a line, dealing damage
• A ground stomp, firing out projectiles that turn players into stone
• A powerful punch into the ground, causing a large AoE dealing a chunk of damage

Currently, the Normal Difficulty version of Excavator does not seem to have a Phase switch after 50% HP remaining. As a result, just repeat the steps above as and when they appear and you’ll take the boss down in no time!
