Introduction

As you progress the main story in No Rest for the Wicked you’ll find yourself in an area called the Nameless Pass. You’ll eventually be met with a big gate that will need to be opened in order to continue through the are. In order to do this you will need to complete the Nameless Pass Crane Puzzle. Once you complete it you’ll be able to progress into the Nameless Pass prison area.

This guide will show you exactly how to complete the Nameless Pass Crane Puzzle and unlock the gate to progress.

Nameless Pass Crane Puzzle

As you progress through the quarry area of the Nameless Pass you will come across two wooden cranes. You will need to move the platform attached to the cranes into specific locations in order to progress. The first crane can be found by climbing the ladder pictured below:

Once at the crane you will need to latch onto the handle. Push it until the platform can be reached from the stone ledge as pictured below.

Now, make your way over to the second crane in front of you. You can simply jump across to get there, or go back down and run around to the stairs by the second crane in order to reach it.

Once you’re at the second crane you will need to turn it until the platform is situated as pictured below.

After you have both cranes adjusted, make your way back to location of the first crane. From here you will need to jump across to the first crane platform, and keep jumping until you reach to ledge to the entrance of the whisper.

Opening the Gate

After you have completed the crane puzzle you can now access the whisper. After you activated the whisper you will need to make your way through the opening opposite of where you entered. You’ll walk a short distance across the ledge and you’ll see the mechanism you’ll need to activate to open the gate. Once you have opened the gate you can then progress into the prison area of Nameless Pass.
