Morph vs Shapeshifting

A Throne and Liberty morph is a skill specialized in travelling faster. There are several different types of morphs available, along with a progression system and buffs.

Shapeshifting allows you to change your appearance. While you are shapeshifted your name will displayed differently, and NPC’s from the same species as your shapeshifted form will not attack you. However, if you attack or interact with anything your shapeshift will be cancelled.

Types of Morphs

There are several different types of morphs that will allow you to travel faster in the world:

Dash Morph

The dash morph allows you to move faster on the ground. This will morph you into an animal, such as a wolf. You can press the default key of shift or click the mouse wheel button while moving to morph into our desired morph instantly.

Morph Progression

Once you have unlocked morphs you will be able to progress each different type of Throne and Liberty morph in order to earn bonuses for that morph. This is done by earning growth points. You can view your current level for each type of morph in the morph menu. The current active effects or bonuses can also be seen in the menu. The bonuses will accumulate as your acquire growth points and level up with a particular morph type.

For example, the first 6 levels of the dash morph include the following:

  • Dash morph acceleration rate bonus +24%
  • Dash morph movement speed bonus +5%
  • Acceleration stamina cost efficiency while dashing +15%
  • Dash morph acceleration rate bonus +10%
  • Dash morph movement speed bonus +5%
  • Dash morph acceleration rate bonus +2%

So, when you performed a dash morph you would receive a total dash morph acceleration bonus of 36% along with the accumulation of the other bonuses. You will need to level up each type of morph separately to receive their bonuses.

Lithograph Book

Along with growth points there is also a Lithograph book tied to your morphs. You will need to collect certain forms in order to complete that entry in the book. Once you compete the entry you will receive a buff. These buffs are always active.

For example, completing the entry in the book called piercing eyes will grant you maximum stamina +4.
