Dark and Darker has a plethora of Unique rarity weapons. Unique rarity gear is only currently found in High Roller dungeons. Primarily from the Lich or the Ghost King. However, while “Unique” is a rarity gear (and the highest at that) – there is also named Uniques too! As a result, these weapons are by far the most powerful but also rarest in the game.

One trait of the named Unique weapons is that each of them also wield a one of a kind effect on them. Each named weapon you find throughout your journey has the same damage stat and effect tied to it. However the stat rolls listed in blue are still random! With that in mind – lets check out what the weapons have to offer!

Dark and Darker Unique Melee Weapons List

Life After Death

Life After Death is a hard to acquire unique two-handed Axe – primarily for the Barbarian class. As seen above, wielding this powerful Axe gives players the ability to defy death itself. A key feature that also sets apart the named weapons from the other unique weapons; is the visuals.

Fulgor

Fulgor is a hard to acquire unique two-handed Longsword – home to the Fighter class. This Longsword provides the player wielding it not only a powerful baseline weapon, but also the ability to call down lightning on their opponents.

Viola

Viola is a hard to acquire unique one-handed Rapier – home to Rogues and also Rangers. This Rapier provides the player wielding it the ability to freeze opponents while also dealing additional magic damage.

Kuma’s Claw

Kuma’s Claw is a hard to acquire unique one-hander Arming Sword – home to the Ranger class and also the Fighter class. This Arming Sword also provides the player wielding it +15 additional dark magic damage each swing. The Kuma’s Claw Arming Sword also has a partner weapon – Kuma’s Fang.

Famine

Famine is a hard to acquire unique one-handed Horseman’s Axe – home to the Barbarian class and also the Fighter class. This Horseman’s Axe also provides the player with an anti-heal style effect on-hit. This type of effect even though it is not a damage effect however provides great utility in a battle versus a Cleric.

Pulverizing Prayer

Pulverizing Prayer is a hard to acquire unique one-handed Mace – home to the Cleric class but also usable by the Fighter via Weapon Mastery. This Mace also provides the player with an armor-shred effect that stacks up to three times on opponents. As a result, this particular unique can assist Clerics in supporting the team in an offensive manner.

Cinder

Cinder is also a hard to acquire unique two-handed Halberd – home to the Fighter class. This Halberd also provides the player with a 3 second damage over time burn effect while also hitting for 10 additional magic damage on-hit.

Kuma’s Fang

Kuma’s Fang is also a hard to acquire unique one-handed Sword – home to the Fighter class. This Sword also provides the player with an additional +15 additional dark magical damage on-hit. As previously seen however, Kuma’s Fang is partnered with Kuma’s Claw in terms of sharing the same effect. Due to both weapons being one-handed in nature – this allows for the potential to dual wield and gain immense damage!

Elven Bow of Truth

The Elven Bow of Truth is also a hard to acquire unique two-handed Surivival Bow – home to the Ranger class. This Survival Bow also provides the player with an incredibly powerful effect. When a player wields the Elven Bow of Truth, no matter which other Bow you may have equipped – their action speed is massively increased and arrows fly in a straight line, this effect even applies to Crossbows!

Pestilence

Pestilence is a hard to acquire unique two-handed Recurve Bow – also home to the Ranger class. This Recurve Bow also provides players with a damage over time effect, dealing 3 magic damage for 12 seconds. Having a damage over time effect such as the Pestilence effect provides a great deal of pressure from range and quickly adds up.

Nipalan

Nipalan is a hard to acquire unique Longbow – also home to the Ranger class. This Longbow also provides the player with a powerful knock-back effect on targets struck. While this effect does not provide damage, it does however allow you to keep an advancing opponent at bay!

Unique Shield List

Aegis

Aegis is a hard to acquire unique one-handed Shield – home to the Fighter class and also the Cleric class. The Aegis is also currently the only unique named shield in the game. This Shield also provides players with a deflection effect on the successful blocks of projectiles! A mechanic like this is not only rewarding, but incredibly fun to pull off versus opponents – such as a Fireball from a Wizard.

Dark and Darker Unique Weapons Conclusion

Finally, Dark and Darker is still currently in development. As a result, more unique named weapons are likely to appear throughout the playtests.
